Adige Consulting works with owners and leadership teams. Areas of focus:

Why work with Adige

Sized to the company

Engagements are scoped to the company, not built on heavy frameworks that create more meetings than progress.

Plans your team can run

We work on plans your team can carry out and keep using, not a deck that sits on a shelf.

One partner across the three areas

Problems rarely stay in one area. One partner can connect growth through AI integration, structure and leadership, and operations and change.

Discipline without bureaucracy

Habits from military leadership: clear priorities, accountability, and follow-through.

Who this is for

Owners and leadership teams facing growth, transition, or underperformance.

That includes companies putting structure in place for the first time, and companies that have outgrown how they run today.

Growth through AI integration

How you win.

Technology adoption consulting

Select and implement AI tools and integrate them into business processes.

  • Clarify the business problem before choosing software or platforms
  • Evaluate and select tools that fit your stage, processes, and budget
  • Plan implementation so rollout doesn’t stall in day-to-day work
  • Drive adoption (training, habits, and ownership) so tools get used, not shelved
  • Align technology with operations and process so systems support how work really happens

Best fit when: You’ve outgrown spreadsheets or patchwork tools, a past rollout didn’t stick, or you need technology choices tied to operations, not another vendor pitch.

Go-to-market strategies

Focus how you win customers so growth effort isn’t spread thin across the wrong bets.

  • Clarify target customers, value proposition, and competitive positioning
  • Define channels, messaging, and sales motions that fit your stage and resources
  • Prioritize offerings and markets so the team stays focused
  • Build a practical plan your team can execute and measure

Best fit when: You’re launching something new, entering a market, or need a clearer, more disciplined approach to winning customers.

Structure and leadership

Who leads and how business decisions are made.

Business structures

Adige helps owners build a structure for the company as it is now, and for where they see it in the near future. Owner-led, or with a leadership team.

Each company is different. There is no one-size-fits-all structure, and a formal board is not the default. Board formation (an advisory board, a formal board, or something lighter) is one option inside this work. What we can offer are first principles, and help spotting the milestones that should trigger a shift.

The right structure does not restrict decisions. It prioritizes the important ones. Over time it unlocks value and builds muscle memory for how the team creates that value together.

First principles

  • Know the team. Name who is actually in the business, and who should be in the room for which decisions.
  • Clear lines of responsibility. Each important decision has an owner. The owner is not always the owner of the company.
  • Accountability and follow-through. Agreed timelines, and a check that the work happened.
  • Tied to compensation and careers. Responsibility lines up with how people are paid and how they progress.
  • A high-level meeting rhythm. Few meetings, on purpose, matched to the size of the company.

What changes the structure

We do not score maturity, and we do not hand you a textbook sequence. We look for milestones that mean the current structure is now in the way: a second person who can commit the company, a team that cannot act when the owner is out, a decision that keeps landing back on the owner by habit, an outside advisor whose time is being wasted, or a coming change in ownership. When one of those shows up, the structure should shift. Until then, leave it light.

What this is for

Being a business owner can be isolating. The right structure adds support for the owner. When it can, it places some decisions with key employees instead of leaving all of them at the owner's level. If an outside advisor is needed, the structure is built so the team gets the most from that person. Purpose, roles, and meeting rhythm are clear before they walk in.

The right structure in place makes a later ownership transition, such as succession, a sale, or a leadership handoff, much easier.

What this is not

  • A way to blame other people when something fails
  • Pointless meetings
  • A rigid framework from a business textbook
  • A slide deck the team never opens

This process does not live in a deck. It guides the team as they guide the business.

Not included: legal advice, filings, or help raising venture capital. Structure work does not replace operations, go-to-market, technology adoption, leadership work, or ownership transitions. Those still sit alongside it.

Executive leadership development

Strengthen the senior bench so leadership capacity keeps pace with the business.

  • Strengthen decision-making, communication, and accountability at the top
  • Build shared leadership habits across the executive group
  • Develop skills for coaching teams, setting priorities, and navigating conflict
  • Create development paths that match the real demands of running the business

Best fit when: Leadership capacity hasn’t kept pace with growth, or you want a more consistent, capable bench at the executive level.

Ownership transitions

Prepare the business and its people for succession, sale, or a leadership handoff, so ownership change doesn’t become operational chaos.

Transitions go much more smoothly when the right governance and operational improvements are already in place.

  • Clarify transition goals: succession, sale prep, or change of ownership with continuity in mind
  • Strengthen structure and decision rights so the company can run through the handoff
  • Plan leadership continuity: roles, accountability, and how the next team takes the reins
  • Align people and communication so employees, customers, and partners stay steady
  • Surface operational and organizational gaps that buyers, successors, or new owners will care about

Best fit when: You’re planning succession, preparing for a sale, or navigating a change of ownership and need the business and leadership ready, not just a deal process.

Operations and change

Analyzing and advancing business processes.

Strategic projects

Build a plan your team can actually run and measure, not another deck that sits on a shelf.

  • Set clear priorities tied to how the business actually runs and to its stage
  • Give each priority an owner, so it is clear who is responsible
  • Build in follow-through, so the plan keeps guiding the work after it is written
  • Keep the plan practical enough for the team to run and measure

Best fit when: The business has goals but no shared plan, priorities compete for the same people, or a past plan ended up on a shelf instead of guiding the work.

Operational performance improvements

Make how work gets done clearer, faster, and more reliable, and bring your people through the change so it takes hold.

  • Identify bottlenecks, handoff gaps, and priorities that dilute focus
  • Streamline processes and clarify ownership end to end
  • Plan the change with clear sponsorship, communication, and milestones
  • Anticipate resistance and address it early and respectfully
  • Align managers so they can lead their teams through the transition
  • Set simple review cadences and follow-through so gains hold over time

Improvements already in place make a later ownership transition much easier.

Best fit when: The business is busy but uneven (delivery slips, costs creep, or too much depends on a few people), or you are reorganizing, adopting new systems, or asking people to work differently, and the people side needs to be handled with care.
